NURTURING YOUNG PEOPLE

We believe in our younger generations. Flexibility, dynamism, openness to change and creativity are important qualities necessary to work in international markets and to develop projects, technologies and products.

In order to develop young talent, the Group’s companies collaborate with major local education institutions to offer work-study apprenticeships during secondary and university education, as well as post-graduate internships that may result in full-time employment.

Launched in 2014, MARTINELLI GINETTO for Young Artists is an initiative enabling young artists to apply their talents by transforming their artwork into an original collection of printed fabrics by means of the best digital printing technologies available.

SCHOOL & WORK

For years the Group has been supporting the unique training chain that has grown in the area. The collaboration between schools/universities and the labor market helps jump-start training projects that provide resources to reaffirm the international excellence that Italian textiles are known for.

MARTINELLI GINETTO TEXTILE MUSEUM

The Textile Museum dedicated to Ginetto Martinelli was opened in 2005. On May 5th, 2013 the new venue was inaugurated at the Leffe school precinct, via Locatelli, 26. With thanks to the Associazione Ricerche Tessili Storiche, and the support of the Martinelli family and some private donations, the 600sqm. museum covers the history of textile machinery from the typical medieval loom to the mechanical dobby loom of 1900. One of the peculiarities of the museum is that all the machines are original, restored, and are in good working order.
